In most corporation or businesses, your staff has received an education. This could either be through traditional training such as college or higher education, workshops and seminars, or just the experience of climbing up the ladder. Regardless of where, we get our street credentials somewhere and these credentials are what build the backbone of a business.
Last month, I introduced the planets in business astrology as your unseen workforce – your planetary staff that assists you in your day to day business activities. For years, I spent a lot of time wandering around the physical world “acting as if” I had the perfect spiritual life. After all, I had all the head knowledge. I knew the language of Kabbalah and other metaphysical sciences like I knew the English Alphabet. But, I had a little dirty secret – I knew the language, knew the words, I knew how to go through all the motions, but I had not applied the principles to my life. In fact, it took 11 years (and a spiritual awakening guised in a brekadown) to actually begin my REAL spiritual journey and create the actual connection to the light of the creator that I truly desired. I realized that spirituality and my personal connection actually took work, effort, and daily practice.
Now, before you get confused. I am not a saint, I did not grow angel wings, and I have not yet learned to levitate. I (like everyone else) have made some stupid life decisions that were not in my best interest. I still get caught up in obsessive thoughts, anxieties, worries, struggles, battles with my self-defeating behaviors, but what I have learned is that I always have a remedy to these particular problems. Tarot is a remarkable tool. Out of the many systems of the arcane sciences, tarot is the most versatile. Within its 78-card system is the ability to answer any question, and provide insight into areas of concern in our lives. We can access information on many levels – the teleological, psychological, and mundane. In essence, tarot can reach the deepest corners of our mind to reveal startling information that may be hidden from us, and reveals powerful information that makes our lives well-rounded and meaningful.
During one of our Psychic Friends Live shows my co-host Jacki Smith (we now both host Keep It Magic) revealed a four layered formula to identify what magical candles were best to use for any given issue. The formula requires the Querent to search deep inside their unconscious to discover the root level of the problem. Why? Often what appears to be the issue is really just the symptom of a larger and deeper problem that needs to be resolved before the manifested symptom can be addressed.
Working with clients this can be cumbersome. Many clients are afraid of accessing what is limiting them or do not know how to express their uncertainties and anxieties into words. In addition, we may feel awkward expressing our fears and the root of our problems because we are embarrassed or feel self-conscious of what they may reveal.
I have translated Jacki’s formula into a tarot spread. The spreads purpose is to reveal the deeper layer of our unconscious and provide insight into what can be worked through in order to change our current situation at the root level. Once we resolve the root issue, it becomes easier for the surface problem or symptom to be resolved.
