We have already explored the signs of the zodiac as well as the planets. We are now ready to discuss the third component of a business horoscope which is houses. In most corporation or businesses, your staff has received an education. This could either be through traditional training such as college or higher education, workshops and seminars, or just the experience of climbing up the ladder. Regardless of where, we get our street credentials somewhere and these credentials are what build the backbone of a business.

Last month, I introduced the planets in business astrology as your unseen workforce – your planetary staff that assists you in your day to day business activities. This month, I am going to introduce you to the signs of zodiac. However, unlike the traditional view of signs, we are going to view them as the astrological university that your planets go to in order to operate and function the way they do.

Radical Acceptance and The Sign of Aquarius

Every new year things change. We begin to look at things in new ways and we begin to view things through the lens of possibility and potential. The sign of Capricorn urges us to become more structured and disciplined and as a result you see businesses form their New Year Agenda. This is no different at Coventry where we plan to be more thematically based in 2013 then we have been in the past.

I will admit that working with astrology in a thematic sort of way has been challenging and rewarding at the same time. I have learned much over the past year about the signs and the planets and how to make use of them in a transformational way to help achieve what is that we desire out of life and to be able to seize on every moment that is available to us.

The month of February is associated with the sign of Aquarius and the theme for the month is “getting to the hard truth.” Although the “truth” is something that is innately evident within the sign of Aquarius, it is necessary for us to get to the crux of this word in order to apply it in a practical way that can improve our businesses and our lives.

In personal astrology, the sign of Scorpio is the substance that epic stories are made of. Monsters, dark gods, and heroic quests populate Scorpios volatile and often terrifying landscape. The sign of the scorpion is associated with transformation and regeneration and in most cases before we are able to see the light, we must first do battle with darkness.

In business, we do not face the pitch dark battles that lurk through the human unconscious – after all it is pretty much impossible to send a business in for psychotherapy. However, we still can work with the Scorpionic powers of transmutation while we are under the auspice of the sign.
