The astrology forecast for the week of March 14, 2022 through March 20, 2022 features two major aspects (Mercury sextile Uranus, Venus square Uranus), the change of the seasons as the Sun moves into Aries, and a Full Moon in Virgo.

So, once again, the cosmos picks up steam. Let’s dive right in.

Cosmic Overview

The aspect of the week occurs on Saturday, as Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. I’m going to be blunt (okay, I’m known for that): if you are inflexible in your relationships, must have your own way, or do not like to compromise, then Venus square Uranus is difficult – very difficult. However, if you are flexible and can compromise with your partners (all of them), Venus square Uranus can enhance your relationships significantly.

The planet Uranus likes progress, not stagnation. When Uranus is in a hard aspect to Venus, and your relationships are stuck in a rut and not growing, he tends to shake things up.

Now, the key to working with Venus square Uranus is to shake things up on your own. Venus-Uranus likes excitement, so doing different activities, exploring new things, and adding new elements to keep your relationships fresh will help mitigate many of the more troublesome manifestations of the aspect.

In addition to love, Venus rules money. You may want to keep a watch on your expenditures, because unexpected expenses may occur. Furthermore, this is not the best time to make impulsive investments.

Astrology Forecast for the Week of March 7, 2022 – March 13, 2022

The astrology forecast for the week of March 7, 2022 through March 13, 2022 features a minimal amount of cosmic energy. We have Mercury moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces, and the Sun completes his annual conjunction to Neptune.

Since there is not a lot of activity this week, I decided to offer suggestions to work with the weekly forecast, since I often get questions about personalizing the forecast frequently.

The first thing you need is a copy of your personal horoscope. You can get a copy by visiting astro.com. If you are new to astrology, I would recommend working with whole sign houses, because this system is easier. The purpose of getting a copy of your horoscope is to find out your ascendant (rising sign), which will reveal how your houses lay out in the chart.

Next, you can download a copy of the “Astrology Cheat Sheet” designed by my late friend Barbara Schermer. It’s an excellent quick resource for you to have on hand, or you can purchase “Astrology for Yourself” by Demetra George, which is available in workbook and kindle formats.

Finally, you can now plot the areas of your chart where astrological activity is taking place. For example, this week Mercury moves into the sign of Pisces. If you have Libra rising (and working with whole sign houses), then Mercury will move into your 6^th house of health, work, rituals, and day to day activities. This means Mercury will provide understanding and conversations about these areas of your life. However, if you have Taurus rising, Mercury will move through your 11^th house of friends, groups, and hopes and wishes. While Mercury is in Pisces, you will likely feel more social, and you will perhaps look at your big picture plans and objectives.

Astrology Forecast for the Week of February 14, 2022 – February 20, 2022

The astrology forecast for the week of February 14, 2022 through February 20, 2022 features two major aspects (Venus conjunct Mars and Jupiter sextile Uranus), two sign changes, and the Full Moon in Leo.

It’s going to be a busy week. So, let’s dive right in.

Cosmic Overview

The aspect of the week is Mars conjoined to Venus in Capricorn. This configuration is special because Mars will overtake Venus, when usually Venus is the one that completes an aspect to Mars.

But, why?

Back in November, Venus moved into Capricorn and began applying to a sextile with Mars in Scorpio. However, Venus slowed down before turning retrograde, and Mars slipped into Sagittarius. In astrological terms, this is called frustration, and it means that matters governed by Venus and Mars could not come together or materialize. Venus turned retrograde in December, and Mars continued to move through Sagittarius until it moved into Capricorn on January 24th. Venus then turned direct on January 29^th, but because she is still moving slower than Mars, Mars can overtake Venus and finally come together.

Mars conjoin Venus is great for relationships that have been problematic for the last few months. Tensions should begin to subside, and since the conjunction occurs in earthy Capricorn, this is an excellent time to get the relationship back on the right footing and begin to rebuild structure and foundation. You will notice that it will be easier to negotiate and reach a compromise. Also, if your sex life has been in a slump, Mars-Venus will help spice it up! So, even though Valentine’s Day happens on February 14^th, in the cosmos cupids arrow strikes on the 16^th.

We start the week off with Mercury moving out of Capricorn and back into Aquarius. Remember, Aquarius is the sign Mercury turned retrograde in last month, so all you Mercury shadow watchers, the end is near.

The sign of Aquarius is about progress. On the personal level, we can say that Aquarius is the sign that helps make our lives better than it is now. So Mercury, moving through the sign of the water bearer, helps us develop strategies, plans, and ways to help us level up. Pay close attention to your current interests or anything you learn at this time, because it may provide insight about the future.

Since Jupiter is highly dignified in Pisces, anything you put your mind and energy into should be successful.

The Sun moves out of the airy realms of Aquarius and dives deep into the oceanic depths of Pisces.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It reflects the process of going inward after eleven months of experiencing the outer world and preparing to begin the process again once the Sun moves into Aries in March. The yearly cycle (actually, all cycles) resembles the cycle of the Moon. As the Moon fades away during the waning crescent Moon, it’s time to focus on what we need to let go of, do releasing work, healing, and bring old matters to a conclusion. We are given a larger window to work on these issues during Pisces season. Just a warning: this type of work shouldn’t be done haphazardly. Instead, it should be done with careful thought and consideration.

The Full Moon occurs in Cancer this week at 6:48 PM EST/3:48 PM PST. This Full Moon is potent because it opposes Pluto in Capricorn. The Full Moon opposing Pluto can bring up toxic familial drama or emotional situations where you have lost your power to deal with them internally or externally. Full Moons are emotionally intense, but this one is off the chain. So, get prepared!

Cancer Full Moons are an auspicious time to work through family of origin issues or to let go of emotional pain and hurts. It’s also an excellent time for healing work and ridding yourself of health issues. So, if you need to let go of something emotional, this is the Full Moon to get it done, once and for all.

So, with all the Neptunian energy and with the inclusion of Mercury retrograde, make sure you verify everything before making decisions, because the truth may be elusive and hard to grasp.

Cosmic Overview:

This week, Mercury joins the love goddess (Venus) by turning retrograde in Aquarius on Friday morning. Mercury will remain retrograde until February 3, 2022.

At its root, the sign of Aquarius is about how we can improve our lives. Aquarius is about progress and pushing society forward, rather than staying stuck in the present or being bound to the past. Mercury moving through Aquarius augurs a time when we should focus on areas where we can improve our lives or focus on what needs to be fixed or repaired. Mercury turning retrograde in Aquarius helps us look at the decisions and choices we have made over the past three months that may be preventing our growth. This gives us the chance to course correct if necessary. The silver lining is that with Mercury being retrograde, we can see the areas that need to be fixed easier.

Mercury retrogrades before it can complete its conjunction to Saturn, but it will remain within orb for the next week. Mercury conjoined to Saturn is frustrating and can lead to negative mindsets. It may be difficult to communicate and express yourself to others. So, try to push away negative thoughts as they surface, and you may need to practice some self-care to manage your emotions.

Otherwise, traditional Mercury retrograde warnings are applicable. Make sure you back up electronic devices, finalize plans, and sign documents before the retrograde begins. Here is a checklist to help you during the retrograde cycle.

Let’s begin with the recommendations (Notice I didn’t use the lists of should or should not? Mainly because we should never should on ourselves).

Make sure you go over anything contractual thoroughly. Make sure all the i’s are dotted, and all the t’s are crossed. If you can get away with it, wait until after the retrograde is over to sign on the dotted line.
Avoid starting anything new. New projects tend to have communication problems and mishaps when initiated during this process.
Put a watch on your tongue. (If it is not worth saying, don’t say it)
Check your vehicles for any potential problems. Before Mercury goes retrograde, is the best time for a service call.
Avoid buying real estate or renting apartments. Usually, this means you will move again during a future Mercury Rx.
Using mail delivery services that offer tracking and insurance.
Check, recheck, and check again any travel plans you have or appointments on the books.
If you do travel, don’t take anything of importance or value. Only bring items that you do not care if they are lost or stolen.
Expect people from the past to resurface. However, once they crawl out of whatever cavern they came from, proceed with caution.
Back up all electronic devices.
Avoid buying an automobile.

Now, that is some list. But, if you want to avoid the most annoying tricks Mercury has up his sleeve, it is wise to pay close attention and organize (Mercury loves that word) accordingly.
