I was recently interviewed with the talented people at the Psychic Advisor Network.  Of course, all interviews have a nostalgic quality about them, and this one was no different.  However, this interview really got me to contemplate the psychic industry back when I started in 1987 and the industry now in late 2012.

Now, some of the changes are absolutely obvious.  In 1987, the entire concept of the internet was non-existent.  I mean, who could have imagined that 1/6^th of the world’s population would have a Facebook account and cellular telephones were in their infancy during the late 90’s.  Psychic readings, at the time, were usually done in person and the entire concept of getting a reading via the telephone was a rather alien concept.  Further the amount of resources available on subjects such as tarot, astrology, numerology, channeling, or developing your psychic abilities were very limited.   You could only special order these products from large bookstores unless you happened to live in a very large metropolitan city that had metaphysical specialty stores.

In the second decade of the 21^st century, it has all changed!   One can order specialty metaphysical products at bookstores online or at Amazon.  You can now order classes and participate in large metaphysical events simply by using the telephone or a webcam.  The idea of getting a psychic reading via the phone is simply the name of the game and has expanded into readings via email, Skype, and online chat programs.  The metaphysical world has expanded to the point that anyone who has interest in spirituality can now receive information in the blink of an eye either on their computer or their smart phone.

I decided to ask the tarot (I used the Mythic Tarot) a few questions to see where it thinks the industry has changed in the last 25 years.
