The aspect of the week is Venus conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. So, the primary theme of the week will involve relationships (all of them).

Now, despite the magical belief about relationships – you know, when you meet ‘the one’ and everything in life becomes perfect – relationships are hard work. Sure, relationships can be exciting and fulfilling, but there are times when real world demands shatter our ideals of romantic bliss, and problems begin to occur. Venus in hard aspect to Saturn is when they are often triggered.

We all go through struggles, and those struggles usually occur outside of relationships. They may be career-related, financial, medical, or familial, but we all have things we are dealing with regularly. Venus conjunct Saturn indicates a cycle when those worldly issues (Saturn) can affect our relationships, and even how we relate to our partners individually. Furthermore, when Venus conjoins Saturn, you may feel isolated and alone, which can complicate matters more.

Working with Venus/Saturn requires honesty and realism. You may need to look at your life and what your relationships currently mean to you. Often, insight into ways to get your needs met while handling life’s circumstances is a productive way to get what you require from your partners, and that gut-level open communication can relieve some of the struggle. However, you need to also be cognizant of whether your reactions to the real world may alienate your partner because you are so focused on your own issues, and you are not receptive to them or their needs.

The good news is that if you put in the work, your relationships will become more stable and fulfilling. You can create a stronger support system to deal with your struggles. All that is required is working with your relationships, not against them.

Now, that’s a heck of a lot of Mercury energy this week. Let’s dive right in.

Cosmic Overview

Although Mercury is a big player, the most potent aspect of the week is Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. Mars square Uranus is an extremely volatile aspect, and it’s hard (even in the most conscious of people) to contain. You may feel a need to break free from situations in your life where you feel controlled and restrained. Acting impulsively and reacting to external circumstances may need to be tempered so that you do not do any lasting damage to your life. It’s necessary to be as proactive as possible, and try to manage your emotions the best you can.

If you can control your impulses, Mars square Uranus can be useful. This aspect often reveals the areas of life where you feel discouraged and dissatisfied. Understanding the root of your restlessness can help you make positive and meaningful changes in your life. The key is working with this energy productively, and not letting it work you.

Finally, Mars square Uranus is accident prone. Try to be aware of what you are doing, especially when you are driving and handling equipment. A hard hat may be necessary!

We start the week with a lovely conjunction of Mercury and Jupiter in Pisces. Since this aspect lands in the sign of the fishes, you may notice your creative energies are surging more than usual, which is a good thing, especially if you are in a line of work that occasionally needs a dose of “something extra”.

Mercury conjunct Jupiter is an extremely useful aspect. Your mood should be optimistic, and your outlook on life is mostly positive. You can see the big picture, and you can make the most of it. Mercury-Jupiter aspects are great for business activities and goal setting. So, make sure you take advantage of the energy while it’s available.

Make sure you verify facts before making a major decision.

You may receive insight into yourself or others that creates lasting change in your life. Mercury-Pluto aspects are also excellent for projects that require research and detective skills, because it will help you dig beneath the surface and discover the truth.

We close the week with Mercury moving out of Pisces and into fiery Aries. Mercury in a fire sign is concerned with potentials and possibilities, and you may receive insights that you can use to your personal advantage. So, once again, the cosmos picks up steam. Let’s dive right in.

Cosmic Overview

The aspect of the week occurs on Saturday, as Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. I’m going to be blunt (okay, I’m known for that): if you are inflexible in your relationships, must have your own way, or do not like to compromise, then Venus square Uranus is difficult – very difficult. However, if you are flexible and can compromise with your partners (all of them), Venus square Uranus can enhance your relationships significantly.

The planet Uranus likes progress, not stagnation. When Uranus is in a hard aspect to Venus, and your relationships are stuck in a rut and not growing, he tends to shake things up.

Now, the key to working with Venus square Uranus is to shake things up on your own. Venus-Uranus likes excitement, so doing different activities, exploring new things, and adding new elements to keep your relationships fresh will help mitigate many of the more troublesome manifestations of the aspect.

In addition to love, Venus rules money. You may want to keep a watch on your expenditures, because unexpected expenses may occur. Furthermore, this is not the best time to make impulsive investments.

Astrology Forecast for the Week of March 7, 2022 – March 13, 2022

The astrology forecast for the week of March 7, 2022 through March 13, 2022 features a minimal amount of cosmic energy. We have Mercury moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces, and the Sun completes his annual conjunction to Neptune.

Since there is not a lot of activity this week, I decided to offer suggestions to work with the weekly forecast, since I often get questions about personalizing the forecast frequently.

The first thing you need is a copy of your personal horoscope. You can get a copy by visiting astro.com. If you are new to astrology, I would recommend working with whole sign houses, because this system is easier. The purpose of getting a copy of your horoscope is to find out your ascendant (rising sign), which will reveal how your houses lay out in the chart.

Next, you can download a copy of the “Astrology Cheat Sheet” designed by my late friend Barbara Schermer. It’s an excellent quick resource for you to have on hand, or you can purchase “Astrology for Yourself” by Demetra George, which is available in workbook and kindle formats.

Finally, you can now plot the areas of your chart where astrological activity is taking place. For example, this week Mercury moves into the sign of Pisces. If you have Libra rising (and working with whole sign houses), then Mercury will move into your 6^th house of health, work, rituals, and day to day activities. This means Mercury will provide understanding and conversations about these areas of your life. However, if you have Taurus rising, Mercury will move through your 11^th house of friends, groups, and hopes and wishes. While Mercury is in Pisces, you will likely feel more social, and you will perhaps look at your big picture plans and objectives.

Cosmic Overview

This week features the most positive day of the year, as the Sun and Jupiter conjoin in Pisces. Sun conjoins Jupiter in Pisces is incredibly positive because Jupiter is in his sign, and his benefic energy is amplified. So, make sure you take advantage of this energy while it’s available.

One of the most beneficial features of the Sun conjunct Jupiter is it’s an optimistic and joyful aspect. Your spirits will be lifted, and this should have a positive impact on your outlook on life, and people will enjoy being around you. New experiences are important at this time because Jupiter will want to expand your worldview, and you will have the urge to make your life bigger, bolder, and brighter. As I said earlier, the Sun conjoined to Jupiter is considered lucky. It’s easy to quickly (especially the fire signs) see opportunities and take advantage of them. So, pay close attention to anything presented to you while this aspect is active.

The only drawback to Sun conjunct Jupiter is its propensity towards burnout. It’s very easy to get excited by everything in your life, and as a result, you may take on more than you can handle. So, try not to overdo it.

The astrology forecast for the week of February 21, 2022 through February 27, 2022 features three major aspects, all grouped in the middle of the week – Mars sextile Neptune, Venus sextile Neptune, and Mercury square Uranus.

Cosmic Overview

The cosmic event of the week is Mercury in Aquarius (now out of shadow) square Uranus in Taurus. If there is a week in which cabin fever will kick into high gear, this is the one!

Mercury square Uranus gets bored with the same old monotonous day-to-day activities, and will seek out new things, often impulsively, to add some excitement to everyday life. Now, this is fine and dandy and usually goes smoothly with a sextile or trine, but since this is a square, the erratic nature of the aspect can be problematic. For many (yes mutable signs, I’m talking to you), there will be an urge to throw duties and responsibilities out the window in favor of excitement and exploring new things. However, this can come with consequences, so try to think things out before throwing caution to the wind.

Another feature of Mercury square Uranus is that your thoughts will be fast and furious. You will be inspired by new ideas and interests, and will want to explore them. Intuitive hunches or insights may be amplified while this aspect is active. But, if you have difficulties controlling the onslaught of mental activity, you could end up feeling anxious or nervous. As best as possible, try to focus on one thing and leave the others for another day. Obviously, it’s best not to focus on projects that need focus and concentration.
