This is going to be a massive week in astrologyland with a New Moon, a Venusian sign change, and seven – yes seven – planetary aspects.
So, let’s get the show on the road.
This Week’s Hot Spots:
Control freaks (I say this lovingly because I am one), it’s your turn to shine with a lovely New Moon in Aries occurring on Sunday. This New Moon is a precursor for the next chapter after a year of lockdowns, restrictions, and never-ending holding patterns. Mars, the ruler of the New Moon, is in Gemini stirring up plenty of uncontrolled frenetic energy that puts you back in the driver’s seat. Can I get an amen?
After 13 months of the pandemic, it’s time for you to look at your life and create a game plan or strategy to move forward into a new normal. This New Moon gives you not only the power to move forward, but it’s in aspect to lucky Venus and helpful Jupiter. Anything you begin, in earnest, should be successful.
In addition to the New Moon, Pluto is a major player this week with aspects to Venus, the Sun, and Mercury. Pluto aspects can be obsessive, so watch out for relationship issues if they bubble up on Sunday. Meanwhile on Friday, as the Sun tangles with the Lord of the underworld, you may need to take an honest look at your life (and Mercury in aspect to Pluto will help reveal the truth) and make changes if necessary. Avoiding these changes will just lead to problems resurfacing in July that may be more difficult to manage. And remember, to be forewarned is to be forearmed.
Finally, on Wednesday, Venus will move out of Aries and into her own sign of Taurus. Making financial decisions with this Venusian placement will make things easier, especially after April 25th when Venus clears both Uranus and Saturn. If you want to make a large purchase now would be the time to consider it. Venus remains well dignified until May 8, 2021, when she will move into Gemini.
Sign Breakdowns:
Aries: The week starts out with a massive burst of energy as the New Moon occurs in your solar first house. It’s time to let go of the old and embrace the new. Potential career issues may occur that could lead to changes and new opportunities. Financial growth this week is likely, which may bring you some enjoyment and peace of mind.
Taurus: The New Moon occurs in your solar twelfth house and unresolved issues from the past may resurface. The good news is that a positive conclusion is highly likely. Opportunities for a raise, promotion, or general financial improvement is possible with Mars forming a lovely aspect to expansive Jupiter. New insights may lead to tense encounters later in the week. Keep shady and power-hungry people at arm’s length!
Gemini: It’s going to be a busy and social week for you as the New Moon lands in your solar 11th house. Friends and associates may be a major focus because you need conversation and social stimulation. Later in the week, you may decide to learn something new and further expand your mind as Mars in your solar 1st house gets an invigorating boost from Jupiter.
Cancer: The New Moon lands in your 10th house of career and public recognition. You are beginning a new career cycle and since the planets are shining down upon you favorably, it’s your time to shine. If you are looking for a promotion or raise, now is the time to ask for it. Since Venus is now in your 11th house, new financial opportunities may be presented by friends and associates.
Leo: The urge to break free of responsibilities and duties may be heightened by the New Moon in your solar 9th house. You may need a trip or vacation to help recharge your depleted creative batteries. Towards the end of the week be careful on the career front because dubious people may attempt to steal your thunder.
Virgo: A heavy cluster of planets including the New Moon in your solar 8th house could leave you feeling befuddled and out of sorts. Old familial hurts could resurface and do a number on your self-esteem and may need to be worked through. The good news is that despite your emotional concerns, positive career news could pull you out of your personal funk storm.
Libra: The New Moon in your solar 7th house puts all the weeks’ energy on your favorite concern – relationships! It’s a great time to jump-start the love sector of your life with a healthy dose of romance with a side of good old-fashioned fun. Later in the week, Mars will make a lovely trine to Jupiter giving you the energy boost you have been waiting for.
Scorpio: The New Moon in lands in the health and habits sector of your chart. It’s a good time to look at health-related issues and create new strategies if necessary. Relationship issues may surface as Venus moves into your solar 7th house. You may need to add new activities that keep the relationship fresh and exciting. Otherwise, a buildup of tension could lead to problems in the future.
Sagittarius: Since the New Moon lands in your solar fifth house your creative juices will steadily flow. This is a great time to start new projects and bring your ideas and inspirations to life. Workplace associates may be key to helping you level up but be wary of negative Nelly’s that may attempt to extinguish your flame.
Capricorn: Home improvement projects and family issues may be your theme for the week with the New Moon in your solar 4th house. If unresolved tensions are lurking, be prepared for them to surface towards the end of the week. On a more promising note, the creative projects you have worked on will begin to pay off.
Aquarius: It’s a great week to start new conversations, projects, or social interactions with the New Moon In your solar 3rd house. There will be an increased focus on projects that invigorate your enthusiasm and enliven your spirit. However, try to avoid potential conflict with siblings or close friends because they will only drag down your mood and steal your joy.
Pisces: Finances are a major concern with the New Moon in your solar 2nd house. Planning a budget or getting control over your fiscal circumstances may be necessary. It’s also a great week to spend time with family members, especially those that you haven’t interacted with in a while.
Enjoy your week!
