Yesterday, Kimberly Coots http://thesacredwithin.me/blog/diy-aksahic-wisdom/wrote about her experience with the Akashic records.
Here’s what we chatted about the other day when I got to ask them some questions about their new book. I hope you enjoy it.
Storm: What are the Akashic records and why should someone use them?
Jacki and Patty: The Akashic records are a dimension where all of the actions, hopes, dreams, and thoughts we have had or done are recorded and stored. It also contains all of our potential future trajectories from all the decisions we’ve made. From our understanding this place was created because people want to know everything and we want to learn from our mistakes. People love to reflect, analyze and anticipate life, and we suspect it’s to be able to predict the future as accurately as possible. Spirit understands this, and spirit or universe or divine knowledge met our desire with this dimension we now call the Akashic records. We’ve discovered through our own exploration of the records that we each have our own record room that holds all of our own personal records from our soul’s journey. This is not to say we are limited to only seeing our own records. We can learn from the collective records of the universe and the records of others, but only as they intersect or pertain to our own lives and our path of destiny. The records are organized, guarded and there are rules for using them. Just like any library. When we are ready for the information, it is provided and we are encouraged by the guides and guardians of the records to keep learning more so we can continue to explore deeper into universal knowledge.
We would love to see more people dive into their records to learn more about who they are. We don’t usually remember our soul’s journey in a conscious way. We have to rely on clues from personal preferences, talents, habits and that inner drive that we often have no words to describe. Remembering who we are and what we’ve experienced and survived for that matter can help us over come, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, hopelessness and other bad habits like; greed, selfishness, competiveness, obsessions and violence. We have seen people reconnect with their ability to be tolerant, loving, charitable and compassionate once they have healed the wounds of the past.
Other benefits of visiting your Akashic records is seeing the potential outcome of your decisions, getting insight on a troubling problem, seeing the big picture of a relationship, reconnecting with loved ones who’ve passed, increasing gifts and talents by removing blocks to expressing them and really so much more. But this short list is usually enough to get most people wanting to see just what magnificence is there for them in their records. We are all deeply loved and supported in our records. It’s an experience you can get hooked on really quick.
Storm: The Akashic Records has been compared to Jung’s concept of the Collective Unconscious, could you please explain based on your understand the similarities and differences?
Jacki and Patty: Everything in your records was created by you. To expand on that the entirety of the Akashic records was created by all of us and beyond, which is, spirit or god. The collective unconscious is like the Akasha as it is all of our thoughts and emotions, including the nightmares and delusions. What is different about the Akasha is that it’s been purified of the madness we create out of illusion and desperation we feel when we get trapped in the crazy things we create out of fear. The Akashic records hold the truth. It will show us the truth through metaphors, which seem like fantasy, but they are used to lead us to insight into our experiences. There is no ego in the Akashic records, only wisdom. It was designed to be the clearing house of truth. So if you screwed up, you will be shown that, but not out of judgment, you are the one who judges your own actions, but out of a desire to help you evolve out of your limited perspective that comes from living a life of isolation and ego.
Storm: As a psychological astrologer and life coach I often consult with people who have been traumatized, victimized, and survived some of the harshest aspects of the human experience, could you explain how learning to tap into the ‘Akashic Records’ can assist people with psychological problems, family of origin issues, and environmental/situational traumas?
Jacki and Patty: This is clearly the most difficult yet rewarding reason for accessing the Akashic records on someone’s behalf. To heal from tremendous trauma and subsequent mental and emotional damage can be the greatest challenge of our soul’s journey. This is such a multi-faceted experience and it will enviably include many people, many lifetimes and many perspectives. With that said, the freedom, wisdom and love gained by delving deep into this experience is worth the journey.
When we work with this kind of trauma in the records, we have many amazing tools at our disposal. First and foremost is acceptance that this happened and it nearly killed us. Second is the realization that we survived, third is the journey to letting go all the negative energy around the event and letting in the truth of the light to heal our spirit and rejuvenate our body. We know we’re being general, but trust us when we say, healing can happen this way and the wisdom, love and tremendous peace found in our Akashic records can be instrumental in getting us to the other side of our dark experience. The gift is tapping into our spirit or higher self who will absorb all the pain and ugliness we feel and projected onto ourselves. The safety of the Akashic records allows that to happen and healing of a trauma could be completed in this lifetime if you’re up to it.
