(The Sun conjoins the Moon at 29 degrees if Pisces and forms a solar eclipse. If you have planets between 24-29 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Pisces or Sagittarius or 0-4 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, then this energy will be more significant in your life. If you do not have a copy of your astrology chart, you can get one for free on my website, which comes with a free tutorial.)
Hold on to your hats. It’s eclipse season again and this cycle begins with a curious eclipse at 29 degrees Pisces and a blood moon lunar eclipse in April. So, the energy of the next few weeks are going to continue to be rather intense and we do not experience any cosmic relief until this eclipse season subsides.
The keyword that I would like to associate with this eclipse is change. The eclipse occurs at 29 degrees and the last degree of a sign is a bit volatile because the energies are already preparing for its move into the next sign. In kabbalistic astrology, 29 degrees is considered a karmic degree and events and circumstances from the past will make themselves known and offer resolution. The eclipse makes one aspect which is a trine to Saturn in Sagittarius and the fact that the aspect is out of sign again reflects some form of change that may be beneath the surface beginning to occur. Finally, the eclipse occurs on the same day as the Sun moving into Aries and the official beginning of spring (in the northern hemisphere) and autumn (in the southern hemisphere). Of course, this occurs on the Wiccan holiday of Ostara which is about the cyclical phase of growth in our lives.
So, what does this mean?
This eclipse is all about endings and bringing situations in our life to a proper close. It’s about letting go of the old and unworkable and the trine to Saturn reflects the need to build viable structures in order to promote our inner growth as well as build sustainable emotional security that is reliable. The past needs to be left in the past and we need to begin to prepare ourselves for the potentials of the future. We need to remember that as each door closes and as circumstances in our lives come to an end, the door is actually opening for a new beginning.
Have a great eclipse!
